Researcher
Research into the global offshore energy sectors and have knowledge of the supply chain and industry developments. You will demonstrate/acquire a clear understanding of global offshore energy policies and mechanisms, industry developments, renewable energy & electrical power technologies, & the offshore wind and power industry developments.
Responsibilities
Monitor the Offshore Wind market context, industry & players. Maintenance of 4C’s databases. The role involves extensive reading and proactive telephone research.
Input into strategic development of 4C’s information service based on emerging market requirements & dialogue with clients and the industry.
Work closely with the research team to ensure continued quality & completeness of 4C’s information services.
Developing a personal network of relationships across the supply chain.
Requirements
Educated to A level standard or equivalent - A technical discipline degree/equivalent will be well regarded.
Telephone skills so you can create rapport and develop relationships with stakeholders and customers
Literacy and oral skills to clearly articulate/communicate complex concepts.
Mathematical (statistics), IT skills and tools such as MS Excel. You will interact with Database systems.
New entrants to the industry on a trainee basis. The experienced researcher role requires experience from similar research, strategy, pricing or business development areas.
Real enthusiasm and a drive to excel
Advantages - Second language, Knowledge of vessels, submarine cabling systems and other offshore related activities.
