Cape Wind are currently looking to secure additional finance/PPA. It has been suggested that Siemens may provide project debt or equity financing. All local and state permissions have been upheld after an appeal against them. The project could be delayed by many law suits that are pending.

Agreed to purchase as part of deal to acquire Northeast Utilities. Cape Wind needs a buyer for the remaining 22.5% of the generated power.
