Dalby vessels undertake Greater Gabbard

Dalby Vessels Wharfe, Aire & Humber have won a contract to work on the Greater Gabbard Wind Farm for Client SSE, modifying the Davits on 117 Turbines. The Contract is set to last until the end of 2015.

The vessels have been mobilising, ready for the job for the past few weeks and are now ready to start work.

Last month Dalby Offshore Services and Scarborough Borough Council formally agreed Heads of Terms for the long term lease on Endeavour Wharf, Whitby for the multi million pound development.

Greater Gabbard is 32.5km from shore and consists of 140 3.6MW Siemens turbines. Work on the wind farm finished back on November 5th 2014.
