Revolution Wind Offshore Wind Farm

01 Apr 2024: Update (February 2024): Offshore construction is expected to start in Q2 2024. Orsted is focussed on keeping monopiles and vessels timely. 20% of the monopiles for Revolution Wind are delivered by the same European supplier who has the ramp-up challenges in the German Programme [Bladt]. It is prioritising monopiles for the offshore substation to ensure timely power to shore. Jack up Scylla has been brought in along with a Jones-Act compliant barge. Previous: Offshore construction is due to start in 2024. This is unlikely to include foundation installation until 2025.
