FLIDAR buoy is set to be removed off Gwynt y Môr

The FLIDAR buoy which is currently located at Gwynt y Môr is scheduled to be removed by Babcock International on the 3rd December 2014, the buoy will only take one day to remove.

The vessel Lara 1 and C-salvor are the vessels involved with the removal of the buoy. Vessels have been asked to keep at least 500m from Lara 1 and C-salvor whilst the removal is taking place.

Gwynt y Môr will consists of 160 3.6MW turbines, the project is expected to be finished by the end of 2014. The project may run into 2015.
