JDC secures £5.4m backing for GEV

JDC, a Norwich based corporate finance firm, have secured a minority investment from Maven Capital Partners in GEV Group.

GEV comprises of four main divisions focusing on offshore energy, including rotor blade repair and maintenance for the offshore wind sector. The funding provided by UK private equity firm Maven Capital Partners has enabled two founding shareholders to exit the business, whilst providing CEO David Fletcher and his management team with additional development capital to support GEV’s growth plans.
