Red7 enters administration

Sources have said that offshore diving company Red7Marine has entered administration. Its 280 staff were informed earlier today.

Red7Marine was a provider of Offshore Oil and Gas products and services, Marine Renewables, Maritime Inland Subsea Engineering and Marine Civil Engineering services. Red7Marine retained a wide and varied client base within the Offshore Oil and Gas, Marine Renewables, public and private sectors. The company had recently purchased DSV Red7 Alliance.

Red7 has worked on several UK wind farms, including Greater Gabbard and Gunfleet Sands, and frequently worked within the Oil and Gas sector.

The company was opened on August 30, 2007. In total Red7Marine had 8 offices over the UK with its head office based in Wrabness, Essex.
