Turbine Access System (TAS) developed by Houlder Ltd. and BMT Nigel Gee successfully completed offshore trials over a four week period. The TAS is a lightweight motion compensated gangway that provides improved access to offshore wind turbines for maintenance personnel. During the trials it successfully operated in 1.8m wave height.
