4C is now TGS
We are excited to announce a significant milestone in 4C Offshore's journey. Our integration into the TGS family marks the beginning of a new era in offshore wind market intelligence.
The vessels were christened by Mrs. Marie Le Roy a Councillor from the Harlingen Council (the homeport of SeaZip Offshore Service) and Mrs. Mirna Robert – Du Ry van Beest Holle, partner of Peter Robert the Business Development Manager Offshore Wind at Damen Shipyards.
The deal for the two vessels was signed in September 2014 following the delivery of two FCS 2610 the year before – SeaZip 1 and SeaZip 2. SeaZip Offshore Service selected the vessels by taking into account the anticipated trend to choose offshore wind farm locations at ever greater distances from the coast and at great depths. SeaZip 3 and 4 are state-of-the-art service catamaran ships for the transport of passengers and cargo.
