6th March 2015 - The Developers Göteborg Energi are currently considering appealing the land and environment courts negative judgement.

Court rejected Göteborg Energi's 54-58MW Gothenburg harbour project, due to the fear installation would spread contaminated dredged material. Concerns were also raised that project would restrict the future ability to widen shipping lanes and impact recreation.

Land and Environment Court has granted deferment to pursue any appeal until 1 April 2015th

If an appeal was successful the project could resume in its current proposed location, if not the developers will have to reconsider.

A board meeting is being held on March 25th 2015 with the Göteborg Energi directors to discuss possible steps.
