Equinor and Polenergia have scheduled supplier workshops for the
Bałtyk II and Bałtyk III offshore wind farms being developed in Poland. The online workshops aim to provide opportunities for Tier 1 suppliers to familiarise themselves with the supply chain and to communicate their requirements.

The dialogue will be organised in two steps in following workshop groups:
  • Wind Turbines – 21st October 2020
  • Foundations – 22-23nd October 2020
  • Electrical systems including onshore substation – 27th October 2020
  • Offshore substation – 28-29th October 2020

The dialogue will be held in English and responses to the invitation are to be registered before 14th October.

Bałtyk II and Bałtyk III are two of three projects Equinor and Polenergia are developing together, the other being Bałtyk I. In 2018, Equinor acquired a 50% interest in Bałtyk II and Bałtyk III which have a combined planned capacity of 1,440 MW with the potential to power more than two million Polish households. Later that year, Equinor decided to exercise an option to acquire a 50% interest in the Bałtyk I offshore wind development project. The projects are located in the Baltic Sea in water depths of 25-35 metres, approximately 80 kilometres from the Port of Łeba. They will feature turbines with a capacity of 10 or 12 MW.
