Turbine completion reached at 400 MW Yangjiang Nanpeng wind farm

All 73 offshore wind turbines have been installed at China General Nuclear Power Corporation's (CGN) 400 MW Yangjiang Nanpeng wind farm off the coast of Yangjiang City, China. With the turbine installation completed, the project will fully undergo the commissioning process.

Located in the South China Sea, approximately 4km from the coast of Nanpeng Island, the wind farm features a total of 73 of MingYang Smart Energy's MySE5.5-155 turbines. Offshore construction kicked off in October 2018 with foundation piling operations. The site covers an area 76 km² in waters ranging between 20-30m water depths. It is expected to be fully commissioned by the end of year.
