Dublin Array Offshore Wind Farm

01 Mar 2024: Update 14th September 2023: The latest newsletter has put the date of the planning application back to 2024. Update May 2022: The developer has stated that it now intends to submit the application in Q3 2023. Update : July 2021- Dublin Array intends to apply for a development consent (i.e. planning permission) to construct the project under new Maritime Area Planning (MAP) legislation when the new consenting framework is established, this will be in place before the end of 2021. the application is planned to be submitted to An Bord Pleanala in Q1/Q2 2022. It is estimated that RWE and Saorgus will complete the onshore and offshore consenting processes and RESS auction. RWE plans to submit a new application to build and operate to An Bord Pleanala, under anticipated new marine planning legislation, in 2021. The application will need to include a Natural impact statement.
