Sales Assistant

Purpose of the role:

As a growing company 4C Offshore has a unique service offering with a global reach and corresponding customer portfolio covering the offshore energy sector. We provide consultancy and membership intelligence services and we are based in Lowestoft. We are continuously developing our sales approach and want you to be part of this.

We seek an ambitious confident Sales Assistant of high integrity to develop growing subscription sales. You will be a strategic member of assisting the Sales Manager with the important day to day administration activities. This is a vital part of the role to hitting and exceeding targets, and once fulfilled administration duties there is potential for a more direct sales approach.

Job Role:

• Providing support to the sales team.
• Recording incoming email and phone enquiries rapidly and efficiently.
• Good telephone skills and a persuasive demeanour.
• Use of Word, Excel, and Publisher.
• Recording sales and order information accurately.
• Reporting customer concerns and issues.
• Covering Sales Manager whilst on annual leave.
• Potential for more direct sales role if initial duties are covered.

Experience/Skills:

• Sales and administration background
• Computer skills needed
• Experience in contacting businesses on the phone as well as face to face

Working Hours & Wages:

• 5 days per week (37.5 hours)
• Base salary dependent on experience. From £17-20k.
