All NRG has secured a contract with Vattenfall to support operations at the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm off the coast of Denmark.

All NRG has been commissioned to provide personnel and equipment necessary for interim maintenance, statutory inspections and troubleshooting works for the foundations, including WTBs and topsides and foundation during the construction phase of Offshore Wind Farm

Located 15-40 km offshore in the Danish Baltic Sea, the Kriegers Flak wind farm is set to feature 72 Siemens Gamesa SG 8.0-167 DD turbines, each with a rotor diameter of 167 metres and tip height of 188 metres. Vattenfall secured rights to the 604.8 MW project in November 2016, with a winning bid of EUR 49.9 per MWh. The project is scheduled to be fully operational in 2021.

Last month, the final monopile foundations was for the project was installed. The project developers are aiming for the wind turbine installation process to begin in early 2021.
