Cables depart for Changhua

Cable vessel Isaac Newton is on route to Taiwan to commence array and export cable installation at the Changhua Demonstration project, following loadout at JDR Hartlepool last week.
JDR was awarded the contract to manufacture a total of 27 km of array cable and 37.5 km of export cable in 2019, on behalf of the cable EPCI joint venture between Jan de Nul and Hitachi. Loadout of the cable was completed on 5th March with Jan de Nul cable layer,
Isaac Newton, now on route to Taiwan.

The 109 MW
Changhua Demonstration project will feature 21 HTW5.2-127 turbines, and is due to come online by the end of the year.
