Robin Comrie, Managing Director, Cathie, commented, “With 25GW of leased offshore wind energy projects and build dates throughout the next decade, the outlook for offshore wind in the US is very positive. We have had a US presence since 2017, recognizing the need to be present locally for our clients and to help shape the industry. Bringing Diane onboard in the North East places us closer to our clients and projects, delivering our 75GW of offshore wind expertise where it is needed most. Thanks to Diane’s experience and technical ability, she is well placed to play a pivotal role in growing and expanding our business and will be an asset to the Cathie Team.”

Dr. Diane Baxter said, “I am very excited to join the Cathie Team and expand their presence in the US. My involvement in the US offshore wind market started with Cape Wind and the Block Island Wind Farm over 10 years ago. I’ve been watching the market develop in the US since that time, and to be able to now focus my career on offshore wind is a dream come true.”
