Combilift announce the launch of its groundbreaking product, the Combi-LC. This cutting-edge innovation marks a significant milestone as Combilift celebrates 25 years of pioneering excellence. The Combi-LC is a game-changer in the offshore wind industry, specifically designed to streamline the transportation of wind turbine blades and towers, some of which can reach lengths of up to 115 metres and weigh approximately 70 tons.

Developed in close collaboration with Siemens Gamesa, this innovative solution is set to transform the way these massive components are moved within manufacturing facilities and to storage sites, covering distances of up to 5 kilometres.

The green energy sector's rapid growth demands innovative solutions to handle the increasing size and weight of wind turbine components. The Combi-LC is the result of the companys commitment to providing efficient and reliable lifting solutions for these challenging loads.

Key Features of the Combi-LC:

Customizable Remote Control Units: The Combi-LC comprises two fully customizable remote control units, working seamlessly together to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Versatile Multidirectional Steering: Equipped with 12 wheels, including 6 wheels for multidirectional steering, the Combi-LC offers exceptional maneuverability, even in demanding environments.

Robust Design: Powered by a 75-ton capacity diesel engine, this carrier unit boasts a robust build to withstand challenging ground conditions.

Unique Attachment: The Combi-LC features a distinctive attachment designed to securely grip the substantial cylindrical end of wind turbine blades, providing stability during transportation.

Tip-Side Carrier Unit: The Combi-LC's "tip-side" carrier unit smoothly maneuvers beneath the blade, supported by a hydraulic tilting table-mounted clamp.

Operator Comfort: In response to customer feedback, Combilift introduced a cab-equipped version of the Combi-LC, enhancing operator comfort during journeys, particularly when covering long distances. This addition significantly increases efficiency, with the cab-equipped unit traveling at an impressive 10 kilometres per hour.
