CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE) announced today that it has secured a substantial contract for the Fengmiao1 Offshore Wind Farm, marking a significant milestone in Taiwan’s offshore wind 3.1 zonal development. This contract is the first Foundation T&I contract signed in this phase of Taiwan's offshore wind expansion.

The Fengmiao1 Offshore Wind Farm (OWF), set to be operational by 2027, is being developed by CIP Taiwan Round 3 Projects. This project follows previous successful collaborations between CDWE and CIP on the Changfang & Xidao and Zhong Neng projects. For the foundation installation work, CDWE will deploy its heavy lift marine installation vessel, the Green Jade.

As a local contractor, CDWE is dedicated to the government's localization objectives and is proud to play a key role in building Taiwan’s sustainable future. The Green Jade, which has demonstrated its capabilities in successful offshore installation works within less than a year after delivery, will be instrumental in this new venture.
This contract reinforces Taiwan’s commitment to expanding its offshore wind capacity and highlights the ongoing collaboration between CDWE and CIP in driving the country’s renewable energy goals.
