The Danish Energy Agency and the Danish Environmental Protection Agency have opened a public consultation for the content of the environmental impact report for Jammerland Bugt offshore wind farm.

Consultation responses must be sent to the Danish Energy Agency no later than 2 December 2021.

Once an environmental impact report has been prepared for the project, the Danish Energy Agency and the Danish Environmental Protection Agency will open another eight-week public consultation. After the eight weeks of public consultation, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency will also decide whether an environmental assessment permit can be granted for the project.

The turbine area plus the corridor for the cable covers a total sea area of approx. 31 km2. The turbines are to be installed around 6 km from the shore and connected to an existing transformer station at Asnæsværket.
