EDS opens new offices

EDS HV Group have further expanded their operations setting up operational bases in both Lowestoft and Aberdeen.

The O&M bases will be located within EDS’s parent company James Fisher and will enable the company to support the growing demand for their services across the country.

Ryan Henderson, Group Director said: “We are experiencing a growth in demand for our O&M services and by setting up these two operational bases we can now offer even greater geographical coverage. We welcomed the opportunity to make use of the extensive James Fisher facilities and look forward to working alongside our colleagues to provide an enhanced service to the end client."

With an office in Lowestoft close to the port, it will place EDS in an optimum position to supply services to offshore wind farms off the East Coast, such as the currently under construction East Anglia ONE wind farm.

The £2.5bn East Anglia ONE wind farm is the first of four projects in the East Anglia region to begin construction. The 714MW array will feature 102 SWT-7.0-154 direct-drive wind turbines, each with a capacity of 7MW.
