EEW nails Thor contract

EEW SPC will produce 36 of the total 72 foundations at its Rostock location. The monopiles will be up to 100 meters in length and will weigh an average of 1,500 tons.

The Thor offshore wind farm is being built in the Danish North Sea with a planned capacity of more than 1,000 megawatts. Once fully commissioned, which is planned for the end of 2027 at the latest, Thor is expected to produce enough green electricity to supply more than one million Danish households.
