Eidesvik scores contract extension for Acergy Viking

Norwegian vessel operator Eidesvik Offshore ASA (Eidesvik) has been awarded charter extension with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy GmbH & Co. KG (Siemens Gamesa) for the Acergy Viking. The contract will commence in direct continuation of the current contract extending the firm period until end January 2027.

The vessel is performing service operations duties including accommodation support and personnel transfer. It was originally chartered by SGRE in February 2016; Eidesvik's first contract in the offshore wind sector.
