EnBW has issued a tender for foundation dismantling support at the He Dreiht offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. According to the tender, the successful party will be tasked to deliver a suitable vessel and equipment to dismantle 1-2 monopile foundations used for a noise mitigation test at He Dreiht.

The test is planned between 15 September 2020 and 31 October 2020. The contract can be prolonged if the weather conditions don't allow the conduction of works on sea within the specified time-frame or if there are delays in delivery of project-specific equipment and/or the approval of authorities.

The
He Dreiht project is being developed as a subsidy free wind and was awarded grid connection agreement in the German capacity auction held in April 2017. The project is currently scheduled to enter construction in 2024, with operations taking place in 2025. The 900 MW project is expected to comprise up to 90 turbines, each with a capacity up to 10 MW. Its operation and maintenance will be conducted from EnBW's base in Emden.

EnBW recently constructed the
Hohe See and Albatros projects off the German coast. Both wind farms are expected to supply around 710,000 households with electricity.
