Endiprev announced it is starting to support Siemens Gamesa with its work at the
Kaskasi offshore wind farm. Throughout the next six months, Endiprev's team will perform installation and finishing works in the Kaskasi Wind Farm.
The 342 MW Kaskasi project is located 35 kilometres north of the island of Heligoland, Germany. The project is planned to be fully commissioned by the end of 2022. Once fully operational, the project is expected to supply the equivalent of 400,000 households a year with green energy.

Siemens Gamesa is set to deliver 38 SG 8.0-167 DD wind turbines for the Kaskasi . Each turbine will have an installed capacity of up to 9 MW. Siemens Gamesa and RWE will also equip a number of wind turbines with recyclable rotor blades. The blades are the first of their kind and built using an innovative resin that enables components to be recycled for new applications at the end of their lifecycle.
“Our customers and the industry are looking for suppliers with a global presence, allowing them to have the same quality standards in Europe, America, or Asia”, said Tiago Ornelas, Endiprev’s Group Business Development Manager.
