ENGIE Fabricom UK Limited sells Fabricom Offshore Services

ENGIE Fabricom UK Limited has announced the sale of its holdings in oil & gas engineering, procurement, construction contractor Fabricom Offshore Services Limited (FOS) to 55 Degrees Holding Limited on 12th November 2018.

Fabricom Offshore Services provides delivery focused solutions to meet the needs of the oil, gas, power, chemical and renewables industries. It offers support across the full lifecycle assets including concept, modification, upgrade and decommissioning.

Fabricom Offshore Services recently completed engineering and construction services for a major plant shutdown on the Centrica Storage owned Rough 47/3B platform within a 28 day turnaround period.

ENGIE Fabricom stated that the sale in FOS comes as part of its ongoing commitment to the decarbonisation of energy and at a time of continued growth of its activities in the offshore wind sector. The company stated it will continue to focus on its renewable activities across Europe.

In the UK, ENGIE Fabricom has supported projects such as Burbo Bank, Humber Gateway , London Array, Greater Gabbard, Lynn and Inner Dowsing. It has executed works ranging from electrical installation and commissioning of offshore substations to foundation inspection campaigns and met mast inspection.
