Enterprize Energy and Tractebel Overdick ink MoU for ‘energy plus’ offshore wind concept
Enterprize Energy has
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) with engineering business Tractebel
Overdick to deliver Enterprize Energy’s ‘Energy Plus’ vision for future
offshore wind projects.
Enterprize is aiming to develop an offshore wind driven, platform-based,
system that facilitates the delivery of electrons to the grid, while using
associated technologies to derive the production of green hydrogen and
ammonia.
The contract with Tractebel Overdick, will see both firms deliver on the
prototypical design for a platform that enables multiple energy outputs,
including clean electrons to the grid, hydrogen to the gas grid, and ammonia
exported via tankers.
