The first Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) in the Farra Marine fleet arrived in the port of Akrlow, Ireland, this morning following its transit from Singapore where the 27m vessel was built at the Penguin Shipyard International (PSI).

Farra Orla is a WindFlex design by Incat Crowther. It has a top speed of 27 knots and is powered by four Scania engines driving Hamilton water jets.

Farra Marine is a new CTV operator and based in Arklow. The company has plans for 10 or more vessels, the second of which, Farra Ciara, is under construction at PSI. The vessel is due for delivery in early 2022.
