Northland Power’s Hai Long offshore wind project wins additional 744MW in Taiwan auction. On Friday, Northland Power and its partner Yushan Energy received the awards for Hai Long 2 and Hai Long 3 offshore wind farms in Taiwan.

The Taiwan Bureau of Energy has awarded 232MW to the Hai Long 2 offshore wind farm and 512MW to the Hai Long 3 offshore wind farm under Taiwan’s offshore wind auction program. This is another significant step for Northland in Taiwan and the first time BLIX supports a client in Asia.

BLIX fulfilled several roles in the bid team of NPI, including key positions in planning, risk, interface, pricing of major balance of plant components, and project integration support.
