Hyundai Frontier completes wind turbine installation

Jack-up Hyundai Frontier has completed its inaugural wind turbine installation near Jeju Island in South Korea.

The Hyundai Frontier, developed by Hyundai Steel Industry Co., Ltd., is a 13,000 ton ship capable of installing a 10 MW offshore wind power generator with a pedestal (rotary) crane that can lift up to 800 tons.​

Starting next year, there are plans to install the Sinanjaun offshore wind power project (100 MW) in Jeollanam-do.
