James Fisher and NMDC to work together across sectors

James Fisher and Sons has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with NMDC Group, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company within the marine industries, based in Abu Dhabi.

Under the MOU, the two groups will collaborate in the oil and gas sector, in addition to decommissioning, offshore wind, and marine civil construction around the globe.

Initially, the collaborators will focus on exclusive diving projects in the Middle East and on turnkey decommissioning opportunities in the North Sea and further afield.

The aim is to develop a string of joint ventures and consortia which will enable the strategic partners to deliver major projects around the world and in various sectors and markets.

The MOU was signed this May by Yasser Zaghloul and Eoghan O'Lionaird at a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.

Yesterday, 4C Offshore reported that James Fisher had signed MOUs with Dong Fang and Ho Lung Power Engineering, to strengthen its hand in the APAC region.
