Walker Marine Design has secured a contract for the design of two Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) from Mainprize Offshore. They will be built by Shipbuilding Asia, representing Walker's first project with this shipyard.

MO 6 and MO 7 will follow the design principal of Mainprize vessel MO5 but with a series of improvements to increase transit and transfer capability, as well as Controllable-Pitch Propeller (CPP) propulsion. The vessels will measure 25.74m in length with a  beam measuring 11.20m. The vessels are expected to be capable of transporting up to 40 tons of cargo, and will utilise 2 x Caterpillar C32 engines and 2 x 4 blade CPPs.

The order for
MO5 was confirmed in June 2018. In August 2019, the vessel was shipped to Europe and arrived in September. Since its delivery, the vessel has supported technician transport and transfer at the Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm. The two new vessels are expected to go into service in the European market.
