Manor Endurance starts work on East Anglia ONE

Manor Renewable Energy's (MRE's) newly launched vessel, Manor Endurance, has started its first contract working on East Anglia ONE. The 26m vessel design has been modified to enable social distancing onboard. There is seating for 12 technicians at 2m space and a further eight individual cabins for offshore personnel.

MRE has stated that the design takes the key lessons learnt from MRE's 2017 build, Manor Venture, while bringing a new concept to the sector. Manor Endurance incorporates a 40 kW hybrid system and is fitted with four 700 hp Volvo Penta D13 engines driving IPS 900 propulsion. The 24 ton fuel capacity allows the vessel to stay offshore for up to seven days, plus it can carry up to 40 tons of cargo. The vessel is fully classed by Bureau Veritas.

The vessel was delivered and officially named on 28th August 2020.
