Manor Renewable Energy orders vessels from Strategic Marine

Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) announced the order of two StratCat 27 (SC27) Crew Transfer Vessels from Strategic Marine.

The new additions to the company’s growing offshore support fleet will each be 27 metres in length, capable of carrying up to 30 passengers. The vessels will support MRE’s offshore operations in the UK, Europe and Asia.

The two new CTVs are due to be delivered in Summer 2022.

Portland, Dorset-based Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) was established in 2013 and delivers temporary power and engineering solutions offshore. It operates a fleet of vessels operating in the offshore energy sector. They include the Manor Venture, Manor Endurance, Manor Initiative and Manor Enterprise.

Earlier this week, MRE announced that it had commissioned the build of two 24-passenger hybrid crew transfer vessels, which will be designed by naval architect Chartwell Marine and fabricated by Manor Marine in Portland, Dorset.
