Milestone achieved in Saint-Brieuc Offshore wind farm

Ailes Marines, a company 100% owned by the Iberdrola group, announces the end of the drilling and sealing of the piles of the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm.

The campaign of drilling and sealing of the piles which had resumed since the end of March is over. All 62 positions of the wind turbines and the electrical substation were drilled and equipped with piles by the AEOLUS vessel of the company Van Oord. Its mission completed, the ship left the work area today.

The Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm installation campaign is continuing according to the announced schedule.

As of August 25, 35 8 MW wind turbines manufactured in Le Havre by Siemens Gamesa have been installed.

Installation of the jacket foundations restarted at the end of June. To date, 51 jackets have been installed.

The wind farm has been producing green electricity since July 6, 2023.
