OES Group has been chosen by Jörss – Blunck – Ordemann (JBO) as a partner for the design of the cathodic protection system for the
He Dreiht offshore wind farm in Germany. The He Dreiht will consists of 72 Monopiles structures that require internal and external Cathodic Protection.

The
He Dreiht wind farm will be located 90 kilometers northwest of Borkum and about 110 kilometers west of Helgoland in the North Sea. It is being developed by EnBW. With a capacity of 900 MW, He Dreiht is one of the largest planned offshore wind power projects in Germany.

He Dreiht is being developed as a subsidy free wind farm and was awarded grid connection agreement in the German capacity auction held in April 2017. The project is currently scheduled to enter construction in 2024, with operations taking place in 2025. Its operation and maintenance will be conducted from EnBW's base in Emden.
