ØrstedThe shipping companies Cassen-Tours and Adler-Schiffe, with the support of Ørsted, have set dates for offshore wind farm tours.

On the 12th and the 26th of May, the catamaran MS Adler Cat will be transporting members of the public to the Gode Wind I & II offshore wind farm. There will also be trasnport available by   the ferry AG AG North-Frisia from Norddeich. While on the journey and tour the guests will learn about how electricity is generated offshore.

Tickets for the exits are now available at the port terminal of AG Reederei Norden-Frisia. Should the offer be well received by locals and tourists in May, it is possible that these exits will become a new summer offer.

The Ørsted owned Gode Wind I & II is located 45 km off the coast of Lower Saxony. Operational since 2017, it is one of the largest offshore wind farms in Germany with 97 wind turbines that supply green electricity for the equivalent of 600,000 households.
