Red Rock to deliver crane package for Nexans cable lay vessel

Contracted by Ulstein in 2018, Red Rock will be delivering a deck machinery package consisting of Knuckle Boom Cranes, Fixed Boom Cranes and Work Baskets for the vessel Nexans Aurora.

Nexans Aurora is currently under construction at Ulstein Verft. Designed by Skipsteknisk, the 150-metre cable lay vessel is to be equipped with a turntable with cable capacity of 10,000t, and accommodation for up to 90 persons. Ulstein began constructing the vessel in February 2019, with delivery scheduled for 2021.
