SeaRenergy awarded Hohe See contract

SeaRenegy has been awarded a contract, by the Hohe See offshore wind farm consortium. The consortium consists of ENGIE Fabricom, Smulders, and CG Holdings Belgium.

The scope to be covered by SeaRenergy, will the provision of logistical support and platform management services to the OSS for the wind farm. This will take place during the commissioning phase after the installation of the topside.

The service package covers provision of vessels, helicopters & platform personnel including its management on-/and offshore.

The Hohe See wind farm is situated in the North Sea, 98km off the German coast. It consists of 71 turbines with 7MW capacity each. It is expected to generate approximately two billion kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity per year, which will be sufficient to supply 560,000 households and will prevent the emission of 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 a year.
