Polish foundation manufacturer ST³ Offshore has been declared bankrupt. The company is based in Szczecin, with facilites capable of producing transition pieces as well as jackets, foundation components and monopile foundations for offshore wind farms.

ST³'s portfolio includes 20 suction bucket jacket foundations for the
Borkum Riffgrund 2 offshore wind farm and 91 transition pieces for the Race Bank offshore wind farm.

ST³ filed for bankruptcy in early 2020 after failing to fill its order book or find new financial backers. The Szczecin-Centrum District Court in Szczecin declared the company bankrupt on 31st March 2020.

A tender was listed this month for the single-source sale of ST3 Offshore Sp. z o. o. insolvency with its registered office in Szczecin. The reserve price of the insolvent company amounts to PLN 234,680,000

Submission of a written and unconditional bid drawn up in the Polish language by 10 March 2021 until 2:00 pm is necessary in order to participate in the tender.

ST³ previously faced bankruptcy in 2018, but a restructuring programme enabled the company to stabilise.
