SmuldersThe Hohe See topside was loaded on the pontoon in Hoboken and is soon to set sail for the wind farm. The jacket for the substation left the Smulders' yard in Vlissingen on the 29th of May and has already been installed.

In 2016 the FICG consortium of Engie Fabricom, Smulders and CG was awarded a contract for the EnBW
Hohe See offshore wind farm in the North Sea.

The EnBW
Hohe See wind farm will comprise 71 wind turbines with a total capacity of 497MW. It covers an area of about 40km2 in the German exclusive economic zone of the North Sea, 90km north of Borkum and 100km north-west of Helgoland.

The
Hohe See wind farm will produce enough electricity for nearly 560,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by over 1.5 million tons per year. This project is scheduled to be brought online before the end of 2019.
