Trelleborg Offshore announces buy-out

Trelleborg Group has announced a management buy-out of Trelleborg Offshore UK Ltd, its Skelmersdale-based UK business, with financing provided by Praetura Corporate Finance. The new business will be re-named CRP Subsea Limited.

New owners, Alan Burgess and John Drury, expect that the buy-out will renew focus and improve performance towards it’s customers in the Oil & Gas and Offshore Renewables sectors, delivering subsea buoyancy and bend protection solutions.

Trelleborg Offshore provides polymer solutions to protect assets in harsh offshore applications. This includes polymer and syntactic foam based seismic, marine, buoyancy, cable protection, thermal insulation and rubber-based fire protection solutions for the offshore industry. The company's solutions have been deployed at a number of offshore wind farms worldwide.
