Vattenfall appoints new UK management

Vattenfall has appointed a new UK Country Manager, the Swedish energy group said today.

Danielle Lane takes up the role in August after joining the company in May this year. Ms Lane replaces Piers Guy, who has held the role of UK Country Manager for five-years and will leave Vattenfall, later in the summer.

Vattenfall has been developing, building and operating wind energy in the UK for almost ten-years. Recently, low carbon growth opportunities in retail, heat, independent distribution and electric vehicle charging were opened up as the company drives towards being free from fossil fuel in a generation.

Vattenfall, the developer behind the Norfolk Vanguard and Norfolk Boreas offshore wind farm developments, is encouraging local businesses to provide it with information about the services they provide, focusing on the installation of onshore electrical infrastructure.
