Vento Marine supports MMT US East Coast surveys

Vento Marine has been commissioned to support MMT US Inc, a subsidiary of MMT Group AB, with MetOcean forecast data for a US East Coast offshore wind project.

MMT has been commissioned by Equinor Wind US to provide high resolution geophysical, benthic surveys and shallow subsurface surveys for the planning and engineering of the lease area off the south coast of Massachusetts called Beacon Wind.

The project will be performed using the vessel Stril Explorer, which is expected to arrive the US in a few days and will work continuously to Q2 next year.

Vento Marine will also provide Tropical Storm Warnings for the client as an additional service. This service has been in effect the last couple of days as Ex-Hurricane Isaias passed inland along the US East Coast.
