Windea Jules Verne sets sail for Merkur OWF

Vessels

New build SOV Windea Jules Verne has set sail to Merkur OWF. GE Renewable Energy has chartered the vessel for five years to support the maintenance of the 66 Haliade 150-6MW installed on the site. The vessel took approximately 18 months to build from the cutting of the first steel to the start of sea trials.

The Crist Shipyard in Poland built the hull of the vessel. It was floated out in September 2019 and delivered to Ulstein in Norway for final out fitting.
