Guangdong Energy Group's Zhuhai Golden Bay wind farm has generated its 300 MW full capacity.

So far, this is the largest offshore wind energy project in China's Guandong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is expected to provide green energy to 1 million local users, saving 229,600 tonnes of coal and 456,300 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

This project consists of 55 of MingYang Smart Energy's typhoon resistant MingYang Smart Energy's
MySE5.5-155 turbines. Despite COVID-19-related challenges, MingYang Smart Energy delivered all 55 turbines in less than five months.

Updates and developments on China are featured in 4C Offshore's market overview reports.
