ZTT scores three in one contract

Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Co., Ltd (ZTT) has secured a subsea cable contract for three offshore wind farms being developed in China. The contract is valued USD 216 million and will complete by the Q1 2021.

The project concerns the Sanxia New Energy Jiangsu Rudong
H6# [400MW] + H10# [400MW] + H8# [300MW]. A whopping total of 1100MW offshore wind power projects in China. The three projects are being develop by CGN New Energy Holdings Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Group; a major state-owned energy corporation in China.

ZTT will deliver the EPC scope of +/-400 kV Direct Current cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) transmission cable. The route includes 18km onshore, and 198km offshore in a humid and heavy salt fog environment at Rudong County.
