Andalucia Substation

The substation is actually 2 platforms connected together. Topside 1 weighs 2498tn and topside 2 weighs 2295tn. One of the topsides will be run by 50 Hertz being utilised in the Ostwind 1 project, it will receive power from Arkona-Becken Sudost before sending the power back to shore. The 50Hertz owned platform is larger, measuring 36.9x21.2x16m and the Iberdrola section is 22.8x21.2x16m, including helideck.
