Horns Rev 3 Substation

The cables (array cables) from the wind turbines will be routed through J-tubes onto the transformer platforms, where they are connected to Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear which, via three 220 kV/MV transformers, is connected to the 220 kV export cable. The 220 kV export cables will run from the transformer platforms to the shore and further on to the existing substation at Endrup where the connection to the electrical transmission network will take place via a 400/220 kV transformer.
