4C Offshore | Teras Sunrise
Toda Construction Co., Ltd., Kumagai Gumi Co., Ltd., Nishimatsu Construction Co., Ltd., Wakachiku Construction Co., Ltd., Iwata Jizaki Construction Co., Ltd., Yoshida Gumi Co., Ltd  have acquired Teras Sunrise with the intention of modifying the vessel to be more suitable for installation of foundations and turbines over 15MW.

Teras Sunrise was originally built for the oil and gas industry back in 2014 as a lift boat, equipped with two 750mt Huisman offshore mast cranes. The vessel has a high deck load capacity and suitable deck space, making it adequate for offshore wind installation.

The vessel is estimated to be finished with its modifications in March 2025 and ready for operations in September 2025 to work in Japan.

The vessel, formerly known as Change De (was Teras Sunrise originally) was owned by Teras Offshore and operated by Shanghai Changhang Shipping Co., Ltd is a 117.62m loa jack-up vessel which is used to install turbines in the People's Republic of China.
